There’s no question Paul is knowledgeable about the law. He graduated Cum Laude and Order of the Curia from Capital Law School, and his focus is on labor and employment law and civil litigation. But his ability to think creatively on his feet is what sets him apart. Paul is a true innovator who is unwilling to settle for the status quo. He is also an excellent listener and always makes himself available when advocating for his clients’ best interests.
Paul earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Ohio State University. After law school, he worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Education Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where he successfully tried cases in both Federal and State Court and before State agencies. Paul is a member of the American, Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations as well as the Federalist Society. Effective July 1, 2008, Paul will serve a 3-year term as a Representative of the New Lawyers Section Council of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is an avid golfer and history buff.

Labor and Employment Law
Representation of public and private employers in all areas of labor and employment relations, including all facets of contract negotiations, mediation, conflict resolution procedures, arbitration, and the daily administration of internal policies, state and federal laws, and collective bargaining agreements.
Representation of employers before administrative agencies pertaining to personnel matters, including the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, State Employment Relations Board, and State Personnel Board of Review.
Drafting of municipal civil service rules and advisement on compliance with both municipal civil service rules and Ohio civil service laws.
Preparation of employee handbooks, manuals, and policies for private and public sector clients. Paul advises clients on all issues relating to labor and employment relations and local government law, including FMLA, ADA and FLSA.
Civil Litigation
Representation of clients in all facets in litigation in Federal and State trial and appellate courts. Representation in appeals of administrative agency determinations.
